Springpoint at Home is pleased to welcome two new team members, Agnes Kumor, BSN and Gerri Caton, CSW.

Agnes Kumor

Agnes Kumor, RN, BSN, recently joined Springpoint at Home as Assistant Director of Nursing. She received her BSN from Felician University and brings 13 years of home care experience to Springpoint at Home.

Eleven of those years were spent working with a home health care provider in the pediatric home care division. Agnes is looking forward to expanding into the eldercare space – “I enjoy working with all different types of people and all different ages. I love hearing the stories of our older adults.”

Agnes is excited for the opportunity to broaden her outreach throughout the community. While at Springpoint at Home, she will be visiting clients at Winchester Gardens, Meadow Lakes, and Monroe Village, along with residential homes.

“One of the reasons I made the move to Springpoint at Home is because of their focus on the clients and personalized care. The benefit of working for a smaller company is that they know their clients really well,” Agnes said. “I can talk to multiple people about the client’s background, which allows me to go to them with a good understanding of what is going on. Everyone is on top of the care of the clients, no matter what position they have. It makes working together really wonderful.”

“I want clients to feel they can tell me anything, like they are with family,” she continued. “One of the things that is a bit unusual is that I have three bet chickens in my back yard! I love hanging out with my nieces and nephews. I am excited to be here at Springpoint at Home and look forward to meeting all my clients, our wonderful caregivers and getting out into the community.”

Gerri Caton, CSW joins Springpoint at Home as part of our Care Manager/ Aging Life Care Advisor™ team.

Gerri graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University with a degree in Social Work. She is a licensed Certified Social Worker (CSW) and is awaiting certification from the Aging Life Care™ Association. A geriatric social worker for more than 30 years, she has worked at several long term care and rehabilitation facilities.

“I have always enjoyed our older adults and look forward to continuing to learn from them,” Gerri said. “They are so appreciative of everything you do for them and the support we can provide.”

“I have been a member of the Springpoint at Home family for a little under a year, working at the Meadow Lakes campus as a geriatric social worker. I have been interested in more private counseling and one-on-one support,” she continued. “Meeting the other aging advisors and speaking about their experiences helped me decide to come work for SAH. I most definitely enjoy one on one and having the flexibility to make quick decisions to best problem solve”

“I love being able to utilize all the people skills I’ve acquired over the past 30 plus years. I love being able to put forth the best plan possible for my clients. I have everlasting energy, vast communication skills and the knack to get a situation resolved in a timely manner. On a personal level, I have had two bulldogs, now presently a feisty boxer, Easton and love dogs more than anything. Time spent with my husband, Wayne and family at our Florida home would be considered another favorite thing to do. I look forward to an exciting new journey at Springpoint at Home.”
