Most direct care workers in the United States are women, and that statistic holds true for Springpoint at Home’s Certified Home Health Aides (CHHAs) as well as members of our Aging Life Care Advisor™/Care Manager team. What is unusual is the longevity of Springpoint at Home employees, especially in a profession that typically experiences a lot of turnover. Which is why we are thrilled to have recognized twenty employees at our Springpoint “Years of Service” event.
Congratulations to our Certified Home Health Aides:
-
- 20 years: Janet Matlock, Gesta Dussintyl, Magdala Dagene.
- 15 years: Althea “Jackie” Brown, Anita Cole.
- 10 years: Lilia Mejia, Mary Owusu, Elenia Alfred, Towain Dolo, Myelene Celestin, Elizabeth Lepowoe, Samia Chery-Hyppolite, Yvrose Dessalin, Adrienne Ceide.
- 5 years: Prudence Jaichon, Rose Imhomph, Tameka Walker, Marie Jean, Marie Gilpinc
And congratulations to our Aging Life Care Advisor™/Care Manager, Wendy Schutzer, for her five years of service.
In a field where longevity is unusual, why does Springpoint at Home have so many team members with monumental years of service? In a word, it comes down to respect. We understand how stressful this environment can be and that employees have a life outside of work. We ensure that people with experience – like our schedulers – are there to listen, bounce ideas off of, and make certain that all team members are happy and comfortable with their schedules.
We recognize that in order to retain ideas, we must treat them like professionals – this means acknowledging their hard work and dedication and offering tangible benefits. This is why Springpoint at Home employees have healthcare, vacation time, and 401K incentives. For more information on Springpoint careers and benefits, please visit our website.
We are honored to say that these twenty outstanding team members truly are the keys to our success, and we could not perform successfully without each and every one of them. Thanks for all you do!
