SAH values

blog

Springpoint at Home continuously strives to uphold the values of our parent company, Springpoint Senior Living. The organization-wide commitment to remain “accountable to the greater community” is personified through our programs, which are rooted in community service, providing education, and taking every opportunity to celebrate with our older adults.

Community

SAH Rise

We are so thankful to our Springpoint at Home residents at Monroe Village, Meadow Lakes, Stonebridge at Montgomery, and Village Point Rehabilitation & Healthcare for their wonderful generosity! With their help, earlier this year Springpoint at Home collected 170 beautiful coats which were donated to RISE of Hightstown, providing warmth for those in need during the cold winter season. We’re so appreciative!

Springpoint at Home also celebrated National Nurses Week in May with the amazing team at The Cranbury Care Post Acute Center. Thanks to all nurses everywhere for all that you do!

Education

SAH meet and greet

Springpoint at Home sponsored an event for Heart Health Month (February) at Monroe Village, a Springpoint Life Plan Community, with our healthcare partners. Jason Bitzer, Development Director for the American Heart Association, served as our guest speaker. Special thanks to Jason for educating attendees on the importance of heart health as we age.

Kelly Aylward, Director of Marketing and Community Relations for Springpoint at Home, with help from Steve and Jacki (Brookdale Assisted Living of Monroe) and Marybeth (Caring Hospice), organized a professionals networking group for March’s National Nutrition Month. Guest speaker Dr. Rao Arun. Dr. Arun educated everyone on nutrition while they enjoyed a healthy breakfast and nutritious smoothie shot!

We are also proud to be a long-time partner with The Center for Modern Aging (CMAP). Ms. Alyward recently presented “How to Maximize Your Aide” to CMAP guests. Her educational talk helped attendees uncover the best ways to form a healthy relationship with their aides. She answered many questions relating to home care and care management.

Springpoint at Home sponsored several “meet and greet” hot cocoa stations over the winter for residents of Stonebridge at Montgomery and Meadow Lakes, both Springpoint Life Plan Communities. Hot cocoa and cookies are a great way to meet our residents, and they go “hand in hand” with learning more about our services!

Celebrations

SAH flowers

Ms. Aylward, along with Jess Winters from Serenity Hospice, decorated plant pots with residents of Village Point Rehabilitation & Healthcare, Springpoint’s skilled nursing community. Many thanks to Idetha, Village Point’s Memory Care Activities Assistant.

The team also made flower arrangements at CareOne Assisted Living of Hamilton, which brought joy to the community on a rainy day.

Springpoint at Home happily provided entertainment at the Elms of Cranbury Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center for Nursing Home Week, celebrated in May. Another special thanks to Ms. Winters from Serinity Hospice for co-sponsoring the event.

Providing education, helpful services, and fun celebrations are just some of the many ways in which we serve our older adults throughout the community.
